Since December 7, 1997, the Nigerian Women Eagles Club (NWEC) has been more than just an organization; it has been a sanctuary. We chose the eagle as our symbol because it perfectly captures the dual life of the Nigerian-American woman. In Nigeria, the eagle is a sign of national majesty. In the United States, it represents freedom. To us, being an "Eagle" means soaring above life’s challenges by leaning entirely on the Lord’s strength.
